In March 2010 Mozilla Labs released first milestone of the Jetpack SDK. The SDK is a set of modules which provides high-level JavaScript APIs that simplify tasks such as building a user interface and interacting with the Web. Our Jetpack generator is intended to simplify the development of Firefox 4 add-ons that have to communicate with SMODL services. Submit a SMODL service definition as input for the generator and the corresponding jetpack module will be generated for you shortly.
